How do we define maturity? How do we measure our achievements? When do we say we’ve achieved enough and when do we say I haven’t achieved anything?

I am beginning to question myself. I don’t know, should I be doing this or those questions that none can completely answer are just a bat to beat myself up?

I though I was matured enough to handle life. I had overcome enough burdens and believed that I can handle the next one but nowadays, I feel my strength is starting to wear off.

Ever since I quit the last stable job for more than three years, I feel like I am on stop and start career path. Underachieving or not achieving anything at all. Incompetent. Call it pathetic but it seemed that I am growing more and more confused. I can’t tell what is it that I really wanted to do in my life.  I don’t know what’s my goal, what’s my talent, what’s the best that I can offer or is there task that I am good at?

And I am thirty years old. Jesus, is this mid-life crisis?

it's a phase that all adults go through, no matter how old you are. :)
once you hit your early 20's, you'd feel this way every so often...

because change is infinite, and man is never content, there is a crisis of the existential sort that always happens.

what say you list (in a piece of paper) whatever stuff that you achieved (i.e. poetry, number of times that you made someone smile, discovery of autumn in summer, etc.), and put it somewhere where you can always see it everyday?

You ask what task you are good at? I'll tell you: You, my dearest xam, is the best thing that happened in PP. Sure, there are 7 of you in the council BUT it is you that glues us together. Believe it. (Note: Maraming mag aagree sa akin tungkol dito :) )

If these thigns doesn't mean shit to you, then let me tell you that they do mean something to other people. Kaya wag ng malungkot irog.
